1.Q: What is synthetic ice tiles?
A: Our synthetic ice tile is made of plastic material. We offer a self-lubricating material made of UHMW PE plastic and a
non-lubricated material made from HDPE plastic. The density and rigidity of the synthetic ice tiles products, when coupled with
lubricant, create a surface akin to real ice for skating purposes.

2. Q: What is the difference between synthetic ice tiles and real Ice?
A: Our synthetic ice tiles are manufactured and infused with a slip agent additive that reduces surface friction (coefficient of
friction) and does not require any surface glide enhancers. Our proprietary blend offers optimal glide and performance while
limiting skate blade wear.

3. Q: Will a hockey puck slide the same on Wanhe synthetic ice tiles?
A: Yes, a hockey puck slides and moves very well across Wanhe synthetic ice tiles. The expected feel of the puck on the stick is
about 95% of natural ice. The more the tiles are used, the more the self-lubricating properties come out, making them better the
more they are used!

4.Q: Will I need any special tools to install synthetic ice tiles?
A: A 4 pounds rubber mallet is required to pound the interlocking dovetails together to lock panels into place. If cutting is
required, a circular saw will be needed. You can provide your design, and we can cut it on production directly as your request.
Synthetic ice is a "floating floor", much like indoor laminate flooring, and is not to be mechanically fastened in any way. Be sure
not to impede the surface around the perimeter and to leave a gap if boards or fencing is to be installed.

5. Q: How to clean synthetic ice tiles?
A: Both infused and non-infused surfaces need to be kept clean and free of dirt, dust, and debris to maintain optimal performance.
Use any PH-neutral soap to break up dirt accumulation on your surface and wipe clean. A soft-scrub mop or brush may be used to
loosen-up stubborn scuff marks.
For outdoor rinks simply rinse with a hose or power-wash with a fine spray. In cold climate areas, provisions must be made for
snow and ice removal to allow for expansion and contraction to avoid stress cracks over time.

6. Q: How often will I need to resurface the synthetic ice tiles?
A: Wanhe synthetic ice tiles don't require resurfacing. Should the ice become dirty or full of debris, simply broom
sweep the surface and mop it with regular soap and water. A floor scrubber may also be used but is not required.

7. Q: What are the requirements for the installation floor?
A: The Synthetic Ice tiles are fabricated with the interlocking Dovetail profile to insure a flat skating surface and secure
connection. Our tiles can be easily assembled on any hard, flat surface using a heavy rubber mallet or tamper with protective wood
blocking.

8. Q: Can I use Synthetic Ice outside?
A: Yes! We made it to have UV-protected qualities, and withstand high temps. While it is protected, we recommend making sure to cover it if you can, and to watch for buckling of the seams.
